I loved writing this book—but sharing it with young readers? That’s a whole other level of fun! Whether you’re a teacher or a troop leader, I’ll deliver a visit that can entertain and inspire your whole group, no matter their age.
Storytime
Who’s a good fit?
Children ages 3-7 — preschools, kindergarten or first grade classes, school and public libraries, after-school programs, scout troops, community events, and more
Currently offered in-person only
How long is the program?
Generally 45 minutes to 1 hour
What does the program usually include?
Storytime
Discussion (adapted to audience age level, option to align with academic unit standards, troop/group goals, etc.)
Creative time (choose from coloring pages, writing exercises, temporary tattoos, and more)
Signed copy of the book for each participant (optional)
Writing Workshop
Who’s a good fit?
Children ages 6-10 — first through fifth grade classes, school and public libraries, after-school programs, scout troops, community events, and more
Can be delivered in person or virtually via Zoom or other videoconferencing platform
How long is the program?
Generally 1 hour to 1 ½ hours

Reading
Short talk: What goes into writing and publishing a book? (adapted to audience age level, option to align with academic unit standards, troop/group goals, etc.)
Brainstorming time: Explore the three main elements of a great story with literacy specialist-advised resources
Q&A with Kristin
Signed copy of the book for each participant (optional)
